What is the difference between advanced skin products and retail products?
Products purchased from a retail shop are cosmeceutical products. Instead of correcting skin cells, they just temporarily 'mask' the damaged skin on the surface.

Why should I use all the products in the Obagi System?
Each Obagi System is specifically designed as a system. The formulas work together to effectively balance the pH level and penetrate ingredients to the layers of the skin.

Can advanced skin products be applied around the eyes?
You should avoid using most products, except special eye products, around the eye area because the skin is very thin and delicate.

Can advanced skin products be applied around the neck and chest?
The products can be used on the neck and chest, but the skin there is different from the skin on the face. You should therefore confirm dosage and frequency with your practitioner or skin care specialist.

Can the products be used during pregnancy?
The non-prescription advanced skin products are safe to use during pregnancy and breast-feeding, but the prescription products should not be used.

Can the products be used out in the sun?
You can participate in normal outdoor activities but your skin may be sensitive to the sun and heat. It is essential to apply adequate sunscreen protection every few hours whilst exposed to the sun.

What happens if I stop using the products?
If you stop using the advanced skin products, you will interrupt the healthy cell renewal process. Diminishing results will be visible within weeks.
