Lip Fillers

Enhance, Hydrate, Rejuvenate and Re-Shape

Full lips have historically been considered a symbol of youth, making lip fillers our most requested treatment. Subtle enhancements to the shape and size of the lips can help to harmonise and soften facial features, as well as accentuate your existing natural shape.

Why Lip Filler?

  • Restores volume loss for those concerned with signs of ageing, providing a more youthful appearance
  • It addresses lack of volume and texture of lips affected by smoking and sun damage, revitalising and hydrating the skin
  • Boosts self esteem of patients affected by perceived asymmetry or lack of volume in the lips
  • Re-defines and shapes the structure of the lips and cupids-bow

Did you know?

You don’t have to be a smoker to be affected by lines surrounding the mouth and lip area. Lines are a natural result of the ageing process, caused by a combination of thinning skin and thickening of the muscle over time.

What are Lip Fillers made from?

Lip fillers are made of hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance which is found in the skin. Hyaluronic acid stimulates the production of the connective tissue that plumps the skin (collagen) and is well known for its moisturising and hydrating properties, drawing additional water to the treated areas.

What can I achieve from Lip Fillers?

Different people will have differing motivations when it comes to lip fillers. For some, concerns surrounding lack of volume and the shape of the lips including the cupids bow and borders can be addressed and treated with the injection of lip fillers. For others concerned with signs of ageing, the volume and shape of the lips can be enhanced, alongside the treatment of fine lines and wrinkle in the lip and surrounding mouth area.

How long will it last?

Lip Fillers are temporary and can last from anywhere between 6-15 months dependent on the total amount of the product that has been injected, the brand of the product that has been used and each individual patients’ unique metabolism which will inevitably determine how long the product remains in the body.

How long will I be 'out of action?'

There is very little downtime associated with lip fillers, though swelling is usually at its worst the day after treatment, this should decrease over the course of the day. Some patients may find a little bruising post-treatment, though this will typically last between 5-7 days. Make-up can be applied to cover any bruising from one day post procedure, and the use of anti-histamines and arnica is recommended pre-treatment in order to treat any swelling or bruising that may occur after the procedure.

What does it cost?

The price of lip filler is £360 for 0.5ml and £390 for 1ml. Costs are dependent the product selected following your consultation and may increase based on each individual’s needs.
